If you don’t know already, this is a quick newsflash for you; I’m married. Sometimes blissfully, other times happily, sometimes with divorce papers at hand with a backup shovel nearby. It’s been a short two years of marital bliss for us, and many more to come. We bicker like no other, but that’s just our “thing”. We fight very rarely as we get all the teeny tiny aggressions out in the bickering.
And emails. Apparently.
You see, we all have these tiny little character flaws that we pretend to love. “oh, I knew I loved him when he left the toilet seat up and I didn’t even get annoyed”. Let’s be realistic here guys, there’s always something you’d like to change in your partner. But you live with it because you just love the way they scrunch up their nose when they sleep.
For us, I’d love to say that we let these tiny flaws go and focus on the big picture, our life together, our home together. But I’m afraid my pants would catch on fire, because amidst all the bickering, we like to point out these flaws and take the time and effort to really grind in exactly how annoying the flaws are and how goshdarn much you wish they’d just effin stop doing it!
In the most loving manner of course.
So I share an email conversation I had with the worse half today. (personal details hidden to protect the [not-so] innocent)
And that, my friends, is how you stay married. Or you could follow the fabulous rules by Mrs Finntastic. Suit yourself. Whatever. No, I’m not mad. Of course I’m not mad. I just find it funny how…..
Do you do this with your partners & friends? Or is it just me?
Haha! My bf and I have our moments of bicker too and it’s interesting to see how every couple tackles it differently!

Haha I think I drive my partner crazy sometimes but we’re both pretty chilled so very rarely bicker. He does little things that irritate me…but I’ve learned that the more I show it annoys me, the more he does it and vice versa!
It’s when you get into a “who annoys whom the most” competition that you need to start worrying…
